No skills Needed For This Guitar Game
That’s right, forget Guitar Hero and Rock Band as this is a game in which using a plastic guitar is not needed at all. There are no skills in the guitar instrument and not large spaces needed for this one. Which game is it that is being mentioned here?
Brutal Legend is the game that I am on about here and the game itself is based upon album art from classic rock with the main guy voiced by the funny Jack Black. This is no game for kids, not by any means as this game comes with an 18 certificate plastered on the front of it even though you do have an option at the start of the game to take out the swearing. Not sure why anyone would do this, then again perhaps if you are playing it in front of children without the swearing it may actually be an acceptable game.
However there is a lot of violence in the game with the majority of it being spent hitting, killing and running over anything you see. The multiplayer element of the game is a lot different to what you would normally expect. This part of the game is more about thinking about your strategy as you have to spawn an army of follwers and send them off to fight.
The weapons in the game include a gigantic battle axe and one of those awesome looking guitars that you see in classic rock. It is not really based on one of those Bass Guitars or Acoustic Guitars but is a combination of all things rock.
It is not just Jack Black that has been involved in this game other stars include Lita Ford, Tim Curry and the prince of darkness himself, Ozzy Osbourne. This game really does have a brilliant and gripping storyline that contains many funny moments.
